Terms of Service

Short version: SAOUB:FORGE is a free fan project. Use it for fun, don't abuse the online parts, and understand it comes with no guarantees.

What this is

SAOUB:FORGE is a free, fan-made, non-commercial revival of SAO Unleash Blading, run by the REFORGE Collective. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the original publisher or developer. All original game content belongs to its respective owners.

Free and non-commercial

The game, the website and all tools are free. Nothing is for sale.
Don't sell, resell or charge for SAOUB:FORGE, its codes, its saves or access to it.

Online features

Downloads, updates, live events, cloud saves and the Discord helper are provided as a courtesy. Please don't:

try to break, overload or get around limits on our servers,
access or try to access anyone else's data,
upload anything other than your own SAOUB:FORGE saves.

We may limit or remove access for anyone who does.

No guarantees

Everything is provided "as is". We work hard to keep saves safe, but we can't promise the game, updates or cloud saves will always work or never lose data. Keep your own backups (the Forge makes automatic .forgesave copies on your device).
We may change, pause or end any part of the project at any time.
To the extent the law allows, the REFORGE Collective isn't responsible for any loss or damage from using SAOUB:FORGE.

Installing

You install the game yourself (sideloading on Android, or signing the IPA on iOS). You're responsible for doing that on devices you own, and for following your device's and Apple's or Google's rules.

Discord

Logging in with Discord and using our Discord helper also follow Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Privacy

How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and mention it in the Discord server.
